Integrative Confusion: An Examination of Integrative Models in Couple and Family TherapyTexas A & M University, Corpus Christi
Texas A & M University, Corpus Christi This article examines integrative therapy, emphasizing couple and family therapeutic models. Integrative models have developed at such a rapid pace that a review of their origins is essential. The literature review indicates the varied and confused state of integrative therapy. Yet, there are several promising couple and family therapy integrative models. In an attempt to understand and integrate the available models, their common factors are emphasized.
