Ethical Code for the International Association of Marriage and Family Counseling

International Association of Marriage and Family Counseling

The Board of Directors of the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors (IAMFC) requested the Ethics Committee to revise the extant code of ethics. This revised Ethical Code of the IAMFC addresses contemporary practices and concerns in marriage and family counseling. The code follows the basic structure of the recent revision of the American Counseling Association’s Code of Ethics.

Key Words: ethical code • ethics • aspirations • marriage and family counseling
