Introduction

Introduction

William M. Walsh

Division of Professional Psychology; Marriage and Family Studies at the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley.

The case consultation column is intended to be both theoretical and applied. Each journal issue addresses a particular case or professional issue from a specific therapeutic model or professional position. Different therapeutic models are used as treatment options to cases submitted by practitioners. The theory of each model is used to explain the dynamics of the case, as well as to serve as the basis for treatment suggestions and techniques that may be appmpriate to that model and case. Professional issues are treated from contrasting positions with different treatment options whenever possible.
