Impact of Head Injury on Families: An Introduction for Family Counselors

Coping with the impact of a family member's head injury isone of the most difficult tasks that can confront afamily. Inthis article, an overview of head injury etiology and sequelae is presented, along with the impact on families.Guidelines for counseling families of persons with headinjuries and suggestions forfuture research are provided.
