Marriage and Family Enrichment: A Process Whose Time Has Come (and Gone?)Institute ofPastoral Studies, Loyola University, 6525 N. Sheridan Rd., Chicago, IL 60626. Like the values clarification movement with which it shares many similarities, marriage and family enrichment grew rapidly during the 1970s and early 1980s but has apparently fallen off sharply since then. This article reviews enrichment research of the 1990s including marriage preparation and premarital counseling, specifzc programs, specfic populations, and continuing research needs.
