A Social Constructionist Approach to Counseling Religious Couples

This article describes the challenges couples andfamily counselors may encounter when working with particular religious clients, presents a rationale for integrating religious beliefs and counseling, suggests a so-cial constructionist perspective as a means of viewing the dilemma, and,by way of a case illustration, offers practical strategies for enhancingcouples counseling with this population.
