Atlanta Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program There is growing interest in collaborative clinical work between physicians and counselors. The reactions of a Ph.D.-level, counselor-in-training, a medical student, and a family practice resident to collaborative systems clinical training at a family practice residency program are given in this article. The initial impressions of the teaching model, the impressions of the content and process of the model, the benefits and struggles with the model, and how the experience changed their views of behavioral science training are addressed in the responses.
